Judiciary kept its solid form even as the Armed Forces of the Philippines ended a two-game losing skid in Sunday’s 1st UNTV Cup held at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Former PBA cager Don Camaso led Judiciary with 24 points and 15 boards while John Hall, Ariel Capus, Julius Caesar Rabino and Jose Midas Marquez combined for 57 points as Judiciary took its third straight victory with a 103-85 rout against PhilHealth.

Carlo Capati scored 31 points for PhilHealth which took its second defeat in four outings. They are now in fourth place in this seven-team league organized by Breakthrough and Milestones Production International headed by Chairman and CEO Daniel Razon.

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) had six players scoring in double digits to highlight their 108-72 lopsided win over Department of Justice even as the AFP played with a sense of urgency dealing Congress-LGU a 110-83 beating in the other game.

Scoring mostly on transitions, MMDA shot 60 percent from the field to boost its drive for the two automatic Final Four slots with a third best 2-1 record.
